Final project - Complete

Final project -  Complete Status: The game is now complete and uploaded to gamejolt siteThe link is below. This file can be opened with GameMaker :Studio 2 -- kameshnihar.gamejolt.io/eve Controls: The controls are w,a,s,d, for movement and mouse for aim and left click to shoot. Challenges and Constraints: The number of objects is restricted to 10. The amount of rooms was restricted to 5. I could use more time to make the game more complex  and add special effects. I can also refine the characters and making more different and difficult levels. Marking Please mark me on the following: 10 marks for ideas 10 marks for gameplay 20 marks for programming p.s. I will demo the game next week
Final Project Journal May 16 Today I have started to make the Journal and the timetable. May 24 Today I finished the hero interface and I am going to start making guns and bullets for the hero from next class on. the ones that I felt difficult were coding the gravity and jump mechanics. May 28 Today I made a few more rooms and enemies. May 30 I made new obstacle. June 1 Today I started making the menu. June 5 Solved a problem on the enemies. June 7 I tried out different backgrounds for the game. June 11 I made my rooms and menu. June 13 Today I wrapped up with the enemies and put them in different places. June 15 I submitted the project.
Final Project Proposal Overview: This is story about a boy who gets turned into a robot but forgets about it in the process. This game is when she starts searching for her past self. There are especially more emotional twists than action in this game. The antagonist is the department owner who later turns out to be working for the Military. The game objectives are simple, collect data chips by solving puzzles and use your acquired knowledge to solve further riddles and get all your memories back. The boss fight are mostly robots and occasional agents. At the end of the game, when all the chips are found the full past plays out and you win or you can keep playing to terminate all of the Army from your base. After defeating them you have a choice, you can kill your self, because your a robot or you could eternally live and no one would come near you, and you will be isolated until dark matter rips the universe apart, because others think you might kill them if they came near. Indie Games: The Movie 1.What are  some of the difference between "big games" and "independent games" in terms of style/concepts and how they are made?       Indie Games are a form of showing the game designer's vulnerabilities and not polish the game too much. The "Big Games" are those that are highly polished and are made by "Big Companies" Ubisoft and Activision. 2.
