Final Project Proposal

Overview:

This is story about a boy who gets turned into a robot but forgets about it in the process. This game is when she starts searching for her past self. There are especially more emotional twists than action in this game. The antagonist is the department owner who later turns out to be working for the Military.

The game objectives are simple, collect data chips by solving puzzles and use your acquired knowledge to solve further riddles and get all your memories back. The boss fight are mostly robots and occasional agents. At the end of the game, when all the chips are found the full past plays out and you win or you can keep playing to terminate all of the Army from your base. After defeating them you have a choice, you can kill your self, because your a robot or you could eternally live and no one would come near you, and you will be isolated until dark matter rips the universe apart, because others think you might kill them if they came near.

I am going to be using GameMaker 2.0 which is the newest version of GameMaker. This is a 2D game platform.

And if I get stuck, I can always use the code directory to find what I need. I also plan on making the ending more interesting and adding my own twists by setting up a whole network of rooms per level, picking up artifacts and much more!

The interface is easy except your batteries keep depleting and you need to recharge once in a while. Of course, there will be certain objects that increase the capacity and function of your body. Taking hits from your enemies will also take away your energy but you will get a shield and health bar later on.

Your inventory shows you what you are carrying both actively and passively. You will get a pistol a revolver and hypo/energy-bank, and many more weapons and wiring mods on the way. The active items can be used by your 1,2,3,4 keys and pressing the Space key to use/fire your current selected number item.

There are four levels and in each level there are in total 4 rooms for the game excluding the menu.
